This here was a great read it takes you through the life of Hope from the day she was born. With so much turmoil that she has face will hope ever be able to live a normal life as a teenager? Well you would have to read this to find out.....
I really enjoyed this book, a classic story of easy money, all money ain't good money. The outcome is usually jail or the grave yard.
Why oh why haven't I read this book sooner? I enjoyed it from beginning to end... Poor Hope just could not catch a break! This story flowed effortlessly and was a easy read! Great job Ray!!! Can't wait for part 2!!!
I really did enjoy the book. However I feel that with any craft the artist must put their all into it. That means doing research to make sure facts are correct, the creative parts are for the writer to create but facts are facts and you cannot just write whatever you want. Insulin lowers blood sugar so Lena could not have gone into a hyperglycemic [high bloodsugar] coma because her sugar would have been extremely low. I do enjoy the writers ability to pace and tell a decent story
Good twists & turns in this story. Lena & Javier were both very unique people that were involved with each other. Without giving the story away, their lives were similar to that of their daughter they thought was created by them. Hope was a fighter. Very good read... Enjoy!!
I truly enjoyed the book. I got attached to some of the characters and didn't want the book to end, which is a problem because all books end eventually. (Sad face) Great characters, scene development and an overall great read. Grab it. Start it.
This was a very good story about love, trust,and betrayal. Hope had a hard life, the man who thought he was her father, wasn't and he spent most of his life behind bar after trying to leave her behind as a child, but in the end she and her child prevailed.
